We provide Hospice services in the patient’s homes, hospitals, long-term care settings, residential facilities as well as in the assisted living communities wherever the patient considers his or her home. The aim is to support patients and manage their care in the setting they consider home.

Amida Hospice Care, Inc. can provide shifts of hospice staff for a brief period to help the patient at home. If a patient needs care beyond what can be safely provided at home, Amida Hospice Care, Inc. has special arrangements with local hospitals and skilled nursing facilities where patients may receive necessary inpatient care to manage the crisis until they can return home. Respite care assists patient’s primary caregiver with a break, limited to five consecutive days, by admitting “routine” home care patient to an institutional setting without meeting the” inpatient” pain and symptom management criteria.

Bereavement Care

Amida Hospice Care, Inc. provides one-on-one counseling and group support to assist surviving loved ones through the grieving process, for at least a year following the patient’s passing.
